SQA Services SMS Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the SQA Services, Inc. (“SQA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) SMS Scheduling & Dispatch Notification Program (the “SMS Program”).
1. SMS Program
The SMS Program sends scheduling and dispatch notifications to SQA employees, associates, and contractors who have opted in. Messages are sent only by SQA, only about your own work with SQA. We do not send messages on behalf of clients, affiliates, or any other business, and we do not send marketing or promotional messages through this program.
Messages are limited to:
• Assignment notifications and confirmations
• Offers for SQA assignments, sent to associates already registered with SQA
• Scheduling information and changes
• Dispatch notifications and updates
• Assignment reminders
The SMS Program does not replace SQA’s other systems for managing assignments and scheduling.
2. Consent to Receive Text Messages
You opt in to the SMS Program separately, by submitting the SQA SMS opt-in form at https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/tGEpCk3VT1 and checking the SMS consent box. The consent box is optional and is not pre-selected. Consent is not part of any employment, contractor, or other agreement with SQA. By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated SMS messages from SQA at the mobile number you provide.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of employment, of contracting with SQA, or of receiving assignments.
Please keep your mobile number current and let us know if it changes.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your scheduling and assignment activity. You may receive several messages during periods of active scheduling.
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. SQA is not responsible for charges from your mobile carrier.
5. How to Opt Out
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any SQA message. You can also reply END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. You’ll receive one confirmation message, and then no further SMS messages from this program unless you opt in again. To opt back in, reply START.
Opting out of SMS does not affect other communications SQA may send you through other channels, such as email or STEPQ, about your work.

7. User Responsibilities
You agree to provide an accurate mobile number, keep access to it, notify SQA if you no longer use it, and not use the SMS Program for unlawful purposes.
8. Service Availability
SQA makes reasonable efforts to deliver messages promptly but does not guarantee delivery. Delivery can be affected by carriers, network coverage, device settings, and other factors outside our control. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SQA is not liable for any loss or consequence resulting from a failed or delayed SMS message. The SMS Program should not be your only source of assignment or scheduling information.
10. Privacy
SQA’s collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy: https://www.sqaservices.com/legal-privacy/
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
11. Changes to the SMS Program or These Terms
SQA may modify or discontinue the SMS Program at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new Effective Date.
12. Dispute Resolution
Disputes relating to these Terms will be handled under the dispute resolution provisions of any applicable agreement between you and SQA. If none applies, the parties will first try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, except where applicable law or an agreement between you and SQA requires otherwise.
