Problem Solving - SQA's proprietary PSE (Process Science Engineering) methodology is the product of our experience with the most effective problem solving tools in industry today. Central to the methodology is the evaluation of twelve logical categories of process elements. These elements are universal, and offer a view of your manufacturing process in its entirety. SQA's Certified Process Consultants use this methodology to identify the characteristics of each process variable throughout the system. A clear distinction is made between those process elements that are robust (so they may be preserved) and those that are sources of significant variation (and therefore, the causes of nonconformity). By systematically examining each element of the process, we identify these causes of variation, and advocate positive steps to develop control mechanisms.
